Thinking Fit.

Will you enjoy working this way?

Our way of working suits some people and not others, and it’s better to find out now than after you’ve paid. Twenty-eight questions, seven readings and an honest answer either way.

iWhat this is

Not a test of who’s clever. A test of what you want a conversation to do.

It isn’t measuring ability

Not how capable you are or how much philosophy you know. Nothing is graded.

There’s no answer we’re hoping for

People want different things from a conversation, and all of them are fine. Answer as you are, not as you think you should be, or the result won’t tell either of us anything.

The friction is the useful part

No personality label. You get seven readings and, more usefully, the places where two of them pull against each other.

One thing we’ve done on purpose: we won’t tell you what this is looking for until you’ve answered. Knowing what a question is after makes it harder to answer honestly. The explanation is at the end of your result, and you’re welcome to read it and take it again.

A caution before you start: we built this ourselves, drawing on established research, but it isn’t a validated psychological test. Treat the result as the start of a conversation, not a verdict on you.

Overall fit

iThe shape of it

Seven dimensions, each scored from 0 to 100. The overall shape matters more than any single score.

There’s no good or bad shape. An even one and a lopsided one are both workable; they just want different things from a conversation.

iiThe seven readings

Each bar runs between the two descriptions underneath it: a short bar leans left, a long bar leans right. Neither end is better.

iiiWhere the friction is

The most useful part: where two readings pull against each other, because that’s what you’d feel in a conversation.

Keep it

Bring this to a first conversation. If a reading looks wrong to you, say so: that often tells us more than the reading did.
