No. 3 of 6 · For individuals
The Spiral Mirror.
See the value systems you admire, the ones you enact, and the ones that take over under pressure.
Most of us describe ourselves through one way of seeing, decide through another, and fall back on something older when the stakes rise. This mirror reads all three, ranks none of them, and shows the range you can actually call on.
Not a test of what colour you are.
A mirror, not a label
You won’t get a type. You’ll get several readings at once: the worldview you identify with, the one your decisions act out, the one that takes over under pressure, and the ones you refuse, which can be the most revealing.
Reasons, not answers
Two people can take the same action for entirely different reasons. So after each decision the mirror asks why, and sometimes changes the conditions halfway through to see whether your response changes with them.
No system wins
Every system here solved a real problem and still does. Order isn’t primitive, ambition isn’t shallow, and complexity isn’t a trophy. What matters is fit: whether your way of thinking suits the conditions you’re in.
It keeps three questions apart: whether the self you describe matches the self that decides (congruence), whether your response changes when conditions do (flexibility), and whether your way of thinking suits the problems in front of you (fit). There’s no single score, because a score would turn into a ranking.
Three of you showed up.
Three readings for each system: how you decide, what you claim, and what comes out under pressure. The longer the bar, the more strongly that system showed up. The three rarely agree, and the differences are the reading.
Listed in the order the tradition says they emerged, earliest first. That’s history, not rank: nothing further down the list is better.
These aren’t diagnoses, and some of these patterns may be doing useful work.

The edges of the map
Your mirror is saved in this browser only. Retake it in a few months, ideally after a hard quarter, and see what pressure brings out then.
